High quality spot welding

Spot welding is when two pieces of metal together are placed together, an electrode is put on either side, and a high current is passed through those elec­trodes to make a fusion point which bonds the two metal surfaces together.

At the Boscotek man­u­fac­tur­ing facility, we use table spot welders. This is an extremely versatile method of spot welding where a 5mm-thick solid copper plate forms a tabletop. Copper is used because of its high level of con­duc­tiv­i­ty.

The biggest advantage of the table spot welder is it allows spot welding of very large Boscotek items such as in­dus­tri­al storage cupboards and workshop drawers. Table spot welding saves our Boscotek operators from man­han­dling bulky items.

Another benefit of Boscotek table spot welding is its speed and ef­fi­cien­cy. The process can be completed in a matter of seconds, making it ideal for high-volume pro­duc­tion lines. The welds produced are typically very strong, ensuring that the welded parts will not come apart under normal use.
